Good thoughts and many, many prayers for the well-being of Owen Canfield and his passenger after this vehicle accident.
More thanks than I can possibly express to Paul Stern, who has promptly and faithfully reported not only the financial health (or lack of it) in media institutions, and the new blogs and the job postings, but the sad losses of three colleagues this summer, the threat to Ron Georgeff's health and well-being and now this very concerning report about Owen Canfield, whose columns I sometimes edited during his career at The Courant - when those columns weren't sports-related. We can only hope for the best.
Paul, I didn't reflect on the Alumni/Refugee site during the summer anniversary - because my appreciation had gotten repetitive - but in light of all you have done and are doing to keep the Courant family bonded, you have my heartfelt thanks!
