Coleman Working On Second Book

Trevor Coleman, who  ”served two tours of duty at the Courant; 1987-90 and 1994-1996″ brings us this update on his career:

Although I was not part of the tragic 2008 Tribune takeover, my tenure at the Courant was the most rewarding and important part of my development as a journalist.

I am currently living in metro Detroit (Bloomfield Hills) and working full time on my second book.

My first book “Crusader for Justice the Life and Times of Federal Judge Damon J. Keith,” will be published early next year (February 2013) by Wayne State University Press.

Prior to that I was an editorial writer and columnist for the Detroit Free Press from 1996-2003. I left in 2003 to serve as chief speechwriter for former Michigan Gov. Jennifer M. Granholm and later as her Director of Communications for the Michigan Department of Civil Rights and the Southeast Michigan Office of the Governor.
