As a journalist, I have always admired “Yes, Virginia, There Is A Santa Claus.” It was “viral” in one sense. Yet it also has a lot of enduring meaning. I never tire of it. And I’m reminded how a sincere piece of daily newspaper writing can take on a life of its own.
So it is with Jeff’s interview with this daughters. I’ve listened to it five or six times. Can’t get enough of it.
It has so many virtues: The way he treats the children with respect and seriously “interviews” them. The obvious intelligence of the kids. The great story telling on the part of both girls.
I love the “la la la la,” the reference to “hips,” and especially the moral at the end. Everyone should get a pass for a mistake “once, twice, three times--no one time in life.”

Preserve that tape, Jeff. It is so wonderful and will buoy your spirits for decades to come -- plus there's some good blackmail in it later.
