Megan Stack’s New Book

Those of us who knew and admired former Courant copy editor Ken Stack have always thought of his daughter, Megan, as an extension of the newsroom’s journalistic family. Ken talked about her often, and even after he succumbed to cancer, we followed her development into a brave and powerful foreign correspondent with the LA Times.

She popped up this week on NPR in a piece about her new book. It is based on her difficulties in reporting on events in Yemen.
