The IRS Steps Into The Case

Now the IRS is objecting to the Tribune bankruptcy exit plan, saying it could prevent the collection of taxes owed from the 2007 change in ownership. I personally think the American taxpayers ought to get every penny they are owed out of the deal, which seemed a little too slick all along.
