I suppose it is sadly ironic that Courant.com should be hosting an online career fair at the same time it is laying off members of its news staff.

This is not the first one of these the website has run, of course.

And I hope the company is providing the recently terminated employees the same package of severance benefits it has given in the past — including some career counseling and job-search help.
