Here’s a fascinating piece about the outfit that appears to have much of the control over what happens to Tribune (and its board of directors, and its employees) when the company comes out of bankruptcy.

If I were still at Tribune because I valued journalism and its role in informing a free society, I’d start looking for another employer. Those values are simply not part of the equation.
