Permission To Cross-Own

Tribune needs the FCC’s permission to continue its cross-ownership of TV stations and newspapers in the same market, including Hartford. Technically, the company will be under a new ownership when it emerges from bankruptcy. The company filed the appropriate papers today, The Tribune reports.
