Journal Inquirer Moves Suit To Federal Court

Earlier this year, Journal Inquirer Editor Chris Powell suggested his paper would move its plagiarism suit against The Courant to federal court, and now it has.

Here’s CT News Junkie’s account.

Here’s the suit: JI federal suit

As I recall, Powell said that, when moved to the new venue, the suit would also be amended to remove the plagiarism complaint about one story actually written by former Courant staffer Larry Smith.

I can see from the dates of the articles cited in the complaint that it has.
