It’s been a suspenseful few days for Michele Jacklin as she waited for the recount of her race for election to the Glastonbury Town Council, but now she’s officially elected.
She apparently picked up a few more votes in the process, adding to her original 19-vote margin of victory.
The former Courant political columnist will be sworn in Tuesday, after which she is likely to emerge as a hell-raising minority Democrat among a Republican majority.
Should make for some interesting copy.
