Former Enfield Assistant Bureau Chief Andy Thibault has put together three of his favorite pursuits — writing, teaching and boxing — to offer an unusual event that will feature the talents of young writers and young boxers.

Thibault calls it the Rumble at The Hartford Club.

The Jan. 15 event, to be held, obviously, at The Hartford Club, will offer a day of writing workshops for young talent; prose and poetry readings ; and a boxing exhibition.

Thibault, by the way, is a professional boxing judge and blogging teacher at Northwest Community College.
