Hello, fellow alumni:
    As some of you know, Tina Brown’s cousin, Patrice Battle, was
discovered dead last week after being missing for several days. It
appears she drowned when her car went into a pond near her home.
    Tina was very close with her cousin, a single mom whose sister also
died unexpectedly many years ago. The loss has been incredibly hard on
the family.
    A trust fund is being set up for her 14-year-old daughter. Any of
Tina’s friends who’d like to contribute can contact me and I’d be glad
to collect the donations and send them in one fell swoop, or to find out
more if people want to send donations directly.
