Circulation Down Everywhere

Here’s some discouraging data for anyone who appreciates newspapers (as an industry or as an employer): Every newspaper except one of the top 25 has sufferred a decline in circulation. The Chicago Tribune fared better than most, with only a single-digit loss.

    Ugly, ugly numbers to be sure. Can anything be done to turn this trend around and if not what will the industry look like 5 years from now?
