‘Fraudulent Conveyance’

The opposition is getting organized in its effort to prove that the “going private” transaction was a “fraudulent conveyance” that hadn’t a prayer to work. The story suggests that the whole “fraudulent conveyance” claim, however, is equally unlikely to work.

That Sinking Feeling

A Government Subsidized Press?

Here’s a phenomenon taking place in the Sun-Sentinel’s back yard: local government subsidizing the local press. It’s a little scarey. Incidentally, I couldn’t find any coverage of this in  the Sun-Sentinel. If anyone does, please let me know. (It would be ironic if the Sun-Sentinel didn’t have enough local staff to write about this.)
