Our heartfelt sympathies go out to former Courant Managing Editor Claude Albert, whose father died yesterday morning.

According to Courant alum Sue Quirk, the elder Albert had been in hospice care, and Claude’s mother had been with him for the previous 24 hours.

Sue continues: “In the yin and yang of life, this sad event followed the joyous occasion of the wedding of Claude and Nancy’s daughter Meredith, only the evening before, where I was privileged to be both a guest, and a reader during the ceremony.”
