Some Tribune Anatomy

Here’s a cool diagram of the vast Tribune empire, courtesy of Muckety.com:


This will give us something to go by when/if the creditors take over and start carving up the company as reported by the Chicago Sun-Times. The map still lists Jack Davis as Courant publisher, so it may be dated.

Further, here as some other background links from the bankruptcy proceedings. One is the application to hire special counsel; the other is a list of everyone and everything from the debtors to the judges. This was apparently prepared as part of the effort to show the would-be counsel has no conflicts of interest.

In the second document, it was interesting to see the names of people we know: among them Ray Jansen, listed under the 30 largest unsecured creditors, and Barbara Roessner and Gary Libow, listed among those involved in litigation – not that we didn’t know these things already.
