A so-called respected journalists thinks online gambling can save print newspapers.

Am I the only one who thinks this idea is totally nuts? How is it that the mission of reporting the news can be compatible with facilitating gambling on sports? If that’s okay, probably newspapers should skip the gaming thing and go straight for the big money: porn.

Otherwise it might be interesting to try something radical — like actually investing in reporters.
