Patch.com is launching a Web site covering New Canaan, Conn. in the first week of August. We’re looking for a Hartford stringer to help cover New Canaan’s delegation in the state legislature and report on how action taken in the capitol trickles down to the “Next Station to Heaven.”
Stringers will follow state Senators Scott Frantz and Toni Boucher, and state Representatives John Hetherington and William Tong. They may also be called upon to help cover Congressman Jim Himes and the 4th District.
Those with a passion for small town politics and a knowledge of New Canaan’s delegation are strongly encouraged to apply. If stringers have photography or videography skills that’s a big plus.
Interested journalists should submit a résumé and links to work samples to me, Amy Jeffries, New Canaan Patch Editor. Available and qualified applicants will be given an assignment immediately.
This position is based in Hartford.
