To all of you still at the Courant who are writing the stories, taking the photos, editing the copy, designing the pages, manning the website, selling the ads, running the presses and doing the countless other things that make a newspaper a newspaper (and to all of you who used to work at the Courant before you were forced out so Sam could pay his loans), here are a few links to Tribune’s request in bankruptcy court that it be allowed to pay the managers big bonuses.

It’s nice to know that no matter how bad things get, no matter who many lives are disrupted by the bankruptcy and the layoffs, Tribune will always come through for the people at the top.
