One Lawyer’s Views

Daniel A. Schwartz, who authors the Connecticut Employment Law Blog and was one of those to discuss the Shelly Sindland discrimination complaint on WNPR on Monday, takes a closer look at the case here. He doesn’t take sides, but he does outline the nature of the allegations and offer his view on what is likely to happen next.

He promises a follow-up on the company’s policy manual and how the company “seemingly tries to insulate itself from some types of harassment claims.”

You know the part. It’s where the manual says, “Working at Tribune means accepting a creative, quirky, intelligent, odd, humorous, diverse, opinionated and sometimes annoying atmosphere.”
