Who needs a staff when you can get folks to give you their photos off Flickr? Tribune is trolling for good pix now.  (I might have a few for them, but need to work them over in Photoshop first.)

Hyper-Local Hype

The demise of the so-called “hyper-local” web site of the Daytona Beach News-Journal has some parallels in the Courant’s community news operation, iTowns.
