This time, it’s Editor & Publisher that’s spotlighted the Courant’s new design.
“We did a lot of sit-downs with management and employees and a lot of people in the newsroom felt the previous management did not listen to readers,” publisher Rich Graziano told E&P. “They felt there were some things they weren’t addressing.”
He’s right, of course. This is a positive change, the first of many, we hope.
Poynter today looked at the design as well.

They did a lot of “sit downs,” then they rolled out the same NEW design to Hartford, Daily Press, Orlando and Baltimore …. other properties likely to join the lockstep asap
*second verse … same as the first*
