It was different, it was unique, it was cool (and honestly, we all KNOW the name of the paper, right?) All the other changes to the design seemed to be about either: 1) Hiding the shrinking content, or 2) Mimicking website design (which just don’t fly on the printed page, guy) Now the paper looks like something out of the early 1960s. Can't imagine a more dull-looking front page. Admission #2: I MISS TOPIX! It was the Wild West of blogging, and pure fun on so many levels (as long as you took none of it too seriously). I have yet to figure out how the new "comment" feature works. I notice that few people are using it. Do I need a password? Is there a 4-comment per article limit? What's the deal? Certainly seems like an interactive-step backwards. On the BRIGHT side - we still have a daily paper!
