Tomorrow is launch day for the Valley Independent Sentinel, another Paul Bass production based on the success of the New Haven Independent.

This one is particularly meaningful because besides Paul, our former Courant buddies Eugene Driscoll and Jodie Mozdzer are the boots on the ground, and dems some pretty good boots.

We’ll bring you a look at the website as soon as it is up.

This project is significant, by the way, not just because we know all the players, but because it appears on be the latest working model of at least one direction newspapering (or mabe I should say, newscontenting) is going. That is, as a nonprofit entity using a startup grant.
