A proposal by two lawyers to eliminate ownership restrictions on newspapers has been labeled “stunningly stupid” by this blog; but it would certainly be a happy day for Tribune, a la the Courant/Fox61 merger, wouldn’t it?

So you gotta wonder whose side the lawyers are on.
