A proposal by two lawyers to eliminate ownership restrictions on newspapers has been labeled “stunningly stupid” by this blog; but it would certainly be a happy day for Tribune, a la the Courant/Fox61 merger, wouldn’t it? So you gotta wonder whose side the lawyers are on. Anyway, here’s more about the same issue.
Breaking news: A blog is born, so it must be reported. I don’t recall Courant.com carrying stories about new staff-written blogs before, but I can see where this one might merit special attention.
