This from Dave Heuschkel:
Like many of my fellow Courant refugees, I know it’s tough out there. Yeah, the job market still sucks and the uncertainty doesn’t make it any better. ..
This idea came to me a couple weeks ago when Beth Hamilton posted a question [here] seeking advice about tax implications regarding her severance. Unfortunately I hadn’t checked the Courant alumni website that day. I wish I had because I would’ve directed Beth to someone who could have answered her question.
If anyone has questions regarding their 401K, pension and retirement options, I recommend they contact MJP Associates in Farmington at (860) 677-7755. Ask for Mecheal Hamilton or email her at mhamilton@mjpassociates.com. She’s a great resource for questions and is available to meet with people.
Mecheal has done such a terrific job assisting me with my assets since I left the Courant last summer that I feel very comfortable recommending them. She will work with anyone and is willing to give a free consultation that provides an opportunity for prospects to hear about their investment philosophy.
