More transformative change. .. but into what?
And then there’s this.
Sorta makes you wonder who will be left to do the transformation. I guess he’ll be a busy guy.
Are we at the point yet where information from former quality news outlets has become junk information? When all the old filters – the questioning editors — are gone, when someone decides that the acceptable standard practice will be to go straight from one mind and into text, how accurate will our “respectable” news organizations be? What percentage of junk info is acceptable?
How will we know how much of our information has become junk?
Or will we?

If broadcast TV news and cable newschannels are all we’re left with in the future, my oh my isn’t that a scary prospect! Newspapers are/were the last form of respectable media after local radio news started to disappear a decade ago. Newspapers need to stick around, for the good of the country, even if it means moving them online. But we cannot afford to go lose a form of media synonymous with integrity since the founding of our nation.
(By the way, this is not in reference to FOX61 by any means, but to TV-based media in general.)
