 Some of our buddies will be supplying the brain power in a discussion at the Windsor Historical Society:

April 23 7:30 pm – 9:00 pm

Timely Topics: Future of the Press, Revolution in News Distribution. With print media in trouble, how will people continue to access local news and informed opinions? A panel of local experts including Naedine Hazell (Hartford Courant online); Rich Hanley (Assistant Professor of Journalism, Quinnipiac College); Kevin Lamkins (Radio Active and Hartford Independent Media Collective); Colin McEnroe (Hartford Courant columnist); Chris Morrill (GlobalPost); and Christine Stuart (Connecticut News Junkie) will talk about the historic and continuing importance of our nation’s free press, mistakes made, evolving news communication vehicles, and challenges and opportunities ahead. Cost: $6/adults; $5/seniors & students; $4/Society members.

The Society is at the corner of Palisado Avenue and North Meadow Road.  Parking is available in the Windsor Discovery Center and First Church parking lots, and around Palisado Green.
