Jeanne Leblanc reports that former Courant copy editor Tom Twitchell’s father died yesterday.
“Tom and his mother and sisters were with him at home,” Jeanne said. “Tom’s coping, but I imagine he could use some words of comfort from his friends on Facebook or at tdt53@snet.net.”

I’ve heard from so many wonderful people following the passing of my dad. I think I’ve written back to everyone individually, but I just wanted to say once more how much everyone’s kind words meant to me. It reminded me why I liked working at the Courant so much: I had the best co-workers ever.
I’m still in Ohio but I expect to be back in Connecticut late in the week. Thanks again, from the bottom of my heart, to all of you.
