I have to say I didn’t think it would be this awful. I am truly a little stunned by the number of fine journalists who are being put on the street today.

Here’s the list I have so far (in addition to those I’ve already listed):

Jesse Hamilton, Ann Marie Somma, Mark Pazniokas, Steve Grant, David Wakefield, Matt Egan, Marge Rushcau,   Adele Angle, Robin Stansbury…

There is some confusion over Jesse Leavenworth. I’m hearing he may have been called back by virtue of another person’s decision to leave.  And please, if I have gotten any of this wrong, correct me.

John Ferraro is also leaving, but going to the Hartford Business Journal as its next editor. Good luck, John. At least one talented journalist can continue to serve a readership.
