Marge Ruschau and others on the copy desk would like to know if there is interest in holding an unofficial Irish Wake in memory of The Courant that was and to friendships.

The date Saturday, Sept. 6 has been suggested (“To give those who still feel numb a chance to  gather themselves and to allow people who are on vacation a chance to return,” Marge says.)

9 p.m. -2 a.m. at Kenney’s (now the Red Rock)?

Marge: “There’s an Aetna gathering there earlier in the night. We could set it for another day. The questions are:

Are people interested in such a gathering? Is Saturday a good day? Is this a good time?”
